Learn about the Field Service Mode feature.

The Field Service mode adapts your workspace to suit a field service business perfectly without needing to configure each field service-related option individually. Once this mode is enabled, specific presets are applied, and are accompanied by UI changes.

To enable the Field Service Mode, navigate to Configuration β‡’ Dashboard settings β‡’ General Settings and enable the Field Service Mode.

Field Service Mode Changes

As mentioned, once the Field Service Mode is activated, there will be both visual and performative changes made to your profile, and they are the following:

  • Single Segment Optimization Mode is enabled automatically - This mode allows users to define only the end destination when they import Tasks/Jobs, without the need to define a pickup location. This option also disables reloads (Drivers returning to the Depot to pick up more Tasks to deliver).

  • Drivers are called Agents - The Field Service Mode will change the default Driver entities into Agents. This change will only affect the name of the entity - all the available options and features related to the entity will not be disabled/hidden.

  • Only drop-offs are visible - The Field service mode will only display the locations where Agents need to be to perform their Tasks. No pickup location will be shown anywhere on the map, as is the case with the traditional delivery workflow.
