Similar to limiting the percentage of vehicle utilization, this feature allows users to do the same, but with Driver schedules. In practice, this means if you've set up a 10-hour schedule for your drivers, and you want your workers to utilitze 80% of the schedule, it will mean that they will work no longer than 8 hours (including breaks).

The setup is configured individually at the Driver level, giving users full flexibility when defining schedules. Each Driver can have a unique schedule utilization factor applied, or none at all, depending on operational needs.

Adding Schedule Utilization %

To set up the Maximum Schedule Utilization Factor, navigate to Drivers ⇒ Driver profile ⇒ Schedule utilization factor.

Once configured, after any future optimization, the Driver schedule will not exceed the set threshold. In the example, we set 0.6 as the utilization %, which means that the Driver schedule utilization will never go over 60%.

Schedule Utilization % as Exception

The Maximum Schedule utilization can also be set as a schedule exception. This gives users the ability to limit the schedule utilization only on specific days.

To set up this as a schedule exception, navigate to Drivers ⇒ Schedule ⇒ Exceptions, and select the date (or dates) during which the specified schedule utilization % should apply.
