eLogii allows users to assign a unique color to each Driver. By doing this, the color of the Route assigned to Drivers will not be randomly generated by eLogii, instead the assigned color will be used as the Route color.

To enable this feature you need to do the following:

  1. Enable the option to Color Routes by Diver in Map Display settings on your Dashboard

2. Go to your Drivers ⇒ Select a Driver Profile ⇒ Edit ⇒ Driver Color

You can pick a color by entering the specific Hex code or RGBA value, or click anywhere on the color picker and adjust the color until you get the desired result.

3. Save.

The next time you optimize your Routes, the Drivers that have assigned specific colors will have their Routes colored in those assigned colors.

The colors are not unique in a sense that you can have multiple Drivers assigned to the same color (i.e. the color with the same Hex and RGBA value). This feature is quite useful for visual Route tracking, especially if you're used to distinguishing Drivers based on specific colors. This is also useful if you wish to keep the colors assigned to Drivers consistent and identical for each optimization.

It is possible to have some Drivers have specific colors, while having others get randomly generated colors. For example, if you have part-time workers whose Routes you'd like to visually distinguish from the rest of your workers, you can assign them specific colors and keep your eye on their Routes with more ease.
