If Tasks are started out of the original order in the Route, there is the option of ensuring the route is reconciled ETAs recalculated accordingly so that the Route and notifications are kept up to date.
You can enable this feature in the Configuration ⇒ Optimization ⇒ Sort route to reconcile out-of-order execution.
Click Save once it has been enabled.
The sorting happens on Task state change (which means that no changes will be made unless the Task state changes ).
In addition. if the option to do Tasks out of order is set to ON, and then if the Driver starts the 3rd Task for example - the system will automatically move that Task to the 1st place in the Route (or after the last completed Task (if for example the 1st has already been completed, then this Task will become the 2nd).
💡Pro tip - How to recalculate ETA?
The 'Do not automatically optimize route on update' option needs to be toggled off for the ETA to be recalculated automatically. Otherwise, you'll have to reoptimize the Route each time.
