Right clicking the Driver will display various actions you can perform. These include the following:

To learn more about other Task and Driver actions (such as moving tasks to another date, Driver telemetry and so on), please refer to this article. as some of the Driver actions are different when accessed from the Actions drop down.

Call Driver

Calling the driver directly from the Planning Screen can be done from their Driver Card ⇒ Call Driver.

Exclude from Optimization

If a driver is unavailable to perform a route, and this is not included in their schedule, it can be manually done in the Planning Screen ⇒ Driver Card ⇒ Exclude from Optimization.

Once enabled, the tasks can be optimized and the driver will not be included in the route assignment for that day.

Furthermore, it will not be possible to assign tasks to the excluded driver in any way - not even by manual assignment. You would need to re-include the driver back into the optimization to be able to perform this action.

Driver Details and Driver quick view

If you want to view a specific driver’s profile, you can do so directly by clicking on their card and selecting Driver Details.

This will open their profile with all their data in the Driver section and you will be redirected from the Planning screen into the Driver section of eLogii.

The Driver quick view will option will prompt a Driver information card on the left hand side of the screen where you would be able to view all the details about the Driver. You will not be redirected from the Planning screen.

Remove Driver/Vehicle Constraints

When optimizing routes, eLogii will take into consideration previously set constraints, such as driver skills and schedule, vehicle capabilities and capacity, driver speed factor, etc.

Before optimizing, there is the option of marking the Driver and their Vehicle as Unconstrained. This will allow the software to optimize without taking into consideration the requirements previously set for that driver.

This can be done in Planning ⇒ Driver Card ⇒ Remove driver/vehicle constraints.

Kindly note, if you’re making manual changes to the driver’s route, such as adding more tasks or reordering the tasks in their route, they could become unconstrained automatically, as the new route might not meet all of their requirements.

Change Vehicle

Changing the driver’s assigned vehicle from the Planning Screen can be done in the Driver Card ⇒ Change Vehicle.

This will prompt a window where you can select the appropriate vehicle.

Assign to a Team/Unassign Team

This lets you assign a particular Driver to a Team of your choice. Alternatively, you can unassign the Driver from a Team if they are no longer a part of that team.

Set as unavailable

This essentially blocks the Driver from being assigned Tasks for a specific day. It works similarly to the Exclude from optimization, except that it's not a permanent action and it will be applied to only one day. In essence, this action will just add a Day-off schedule exception for that day, which will disable the Driver from being included in the optimization.

After being set as unavailable, the Driver will be moved to the Unavailable group within the Driver section of the Planning screen.

In case you want to re-include the Driver, you will need to remove the exception by navigating to the Driver's profile ⇒ Schedule ⇒ Exceptions, and delete the added schedule exception.

Edit schedule and Add Schedule exception

You can quickly edit the selected Driver's schedule for a particular day. Once this option is selected a pop up with the Driver schedule will appear and you will be able to adjust their schedule. Please note that this change will affect future days, as it's not a schedule exception (which is a temporary schedule override). Adding a schedule exception would mean temporarily altering the Driver's workhours, start/end location, skills, or even excluding them from optimization for a specified number of days.
