There are different actions you can do with the Drivers on the Planning Screen, and they are as follows:

Calling the driver directly from the Planning Screen can be done from their Driver Card ⇒ Call Driver.

If a driver is unavailable to perform a route, and this is not included in their schedule, it can be manually done in the Planning Screen ⇒ Driver Card ⇒ Exclude from Optimization.

Once enabled, the tasks can be optimized and the driver will not be included in the route assignment for that day.

Furthermore, it will not be possible to assign tasks to the excluded driver in any way - not even by manual assignment. You would need to re-include the driver back into the optimization to be able to perform this action.

If you want to view a specific driver’s profile, you can do so directly by clicking on their card and selecting Driver Details.

This will open their profile with all their data in the Driver section.

When optimizing routes, eLogii will take into consideration previously set constraints, such as driver skills and schedule, vehicle capabilities and capacity, driver speed factor, etc.

Before optimizing, there is the option of marking the driver and their vehicle as Unconstrained. This will allow the software to optimize without taking into consideration the requirements previously set for that driver.

This can be done in Planning ⇒ Driver Card ⇒ Remove driver/vehicle constraints.

Kindly note, if you’re making manual changes to the driver’s route, such as adding more tasks or reordering the tasks in their route, they could become unconstrained automatically, as the new route might not meet all of their requirements.

Changing the driver’s assigned vehicle from the Planning Screen can be done in the Driver Card ⇒ Change Vehicle.

This will prompt a window where you can select the appropriate vehicle.
