It is possible to export the following data from eLogii:
Task export
Data export is a useful feature to enable running additional analytics or importing data into another, external system (if you do not have a direct API integration).
Exporting a specific set of tasks can be done by filtering through them in Tasks ⇒ Apply Filter.
For example, if you wish to export all your completed tasks for last month done by a specific team, simply select the desired date range from the date picker, alongside other parameters such as Task state and team.
For more information on filtering, please refer to this article.
Advanced filtering options can also be a great asset if you want to specify parameters even further.
When tasks have been selected, click Export.
After clicking the Export button, a pop up window will appear and you can choose which information you want to include, or exclude from your CSV.
Depending on your subscription plan, you may also create a preset by checking the boxes next to the desired Task properties you would like to export and selecting the create preset option from the dropdown menu.
There is no limit to how many Tasks can be exported per one CSV file.
Route export and Route Task Export
After the routes have been optimized, there is the option of exporting them in CSV format.
This can be done in Operations ⇒ Export ⇒ Routes (CSV).
Alternatively, for more in-depth analysis, there is also the option of exporting the Tasks from the routes by selecting Operations ⇒ Export ⇒ Route Tasks (CSV).
There is also the option to export Route data for the desired date range from the Weekly planning screen, where you can select the desired date range from the date picker and export Routes for that period; however, this feature is a part of our higher plans.
It is possible to export various types of data, such as total route distance, route weight, cost (total, per hour, per Driver, per Vehicle, etc.), utilizations in percentages, and many other options.
Route information can otherwise be either exported for individual dates or for any query using the API documentation.
💡Pro tip - Compare Planned vs Actual Route Start and End Time
You can find the planned start and end times of a route by running a Route Export and including the routeStartEndTime field.
For the actual start and completion times, run a Route Task Export and include timestamp fields for the first and last tasks on the route.
The first status update of the first Task shows when the Driver actually began the route.
The final status update of the last task shows when the route was completed.
Make sure to include the following fields:
history.enRoute for routes without pickups (or history.pickupEnRoute if the route has pickups) - these indicate the actual start times
history.completed and history.failed - depending on whether the final task in the route is failed or completed, this will indicate the actual end time of the route.
Driver export
Drivers' data can be exported from Drivers⇒ Select Drivers ⇒ Export.
It is possible to include any of the listed data segments in the CSV file, some of which include Driver Speed Factor, Start and End Location information, Depot information, and so on. The current exportable Driver properties are as follows:
uid
reference
externalId
firstName
lastName
username
email
mobile
mobile2
speedFactor
skills
depots
tags
teams
teamReferences
teamExternalIds
zones
startDepotUID
startLocationName
startAddress
startAddressLine2
startPostCode
startCity
startCountry
startLongitude
startLatitude
endDepotUID
endLocationName
endAddress
endAddressLine2
endPostCode
endCity
endCountry
endLongitude
endLatitude
startTasksInAnyOrder
vehicle
vehicleType
schedule
customData
cost
rating
It's also possible to create filter presets and use them for different exporting purposes. The same logic applies here as explained in the Task export section.
Driver Manifest
Driver manifest offers the possibility of viewing the Routes and Tasks of the day on a per-Driver basis.
You could print this for a Driver for example in the case of you wanting to have a paper backup - to collect signatures for example (additionally to the ePOD functionality which is standard within eLogii).
Downloading the Driver Manifest can be done in the Operations ⇒ Export ⇒ Driver Manifest (PDF).
Additionally, you can export the Driver Manifest for a singular Driver by enabling the Selection mode and selecting the Driver before exporting the data, The Driver Manifest will only contain Route details of the selected Driver for that day.
Driver Manifest Customization
It is possible to choose which segments to include in the Driver Manifest export. This can be set up in Configuration ⇒ Dashboard settings ⇒ Driver manifest.
Some of the possible data segments that can be included are Reference, Task, and Item Custom Data, Instructions, Items, Recipient name, and many more.
It's also possible to include custom text, and you can also scale the text to your liking.
With everything enabled, the exported manifest should look something like this
