Alongside the Task actions that can be performed on the Planning screen, users can also take actions within the Task section of eLogii.
Single-Task actions
Single-task actions can be performed by right-clicking the Task you wish to perform actions on.
Users can choose from the following actions:
Assign - This action is available only for unassigned Tasks. It gives users the option to manually assign the Task to a specific Driver/Agent.
Reassign - This action is available only for assigned Tasks. By selecting this option, users can reassign the Task to a different Driver/Agent.
Unassign Task - This action is available only for assigned Tasks. Once selected, it removes the Task from the assignee's route, and the Task is considered unassigned.
Assign to a team - Allows users to assign the Task to a particular Team.
Unassign team - Appears only if the Task is assigned to at least one team, and it lets users remove team associations.
Send "Scheduled" notifications - If selected, it will send "Scheduled" email/SMS notifications to contacts associated with the Task.
Manage tags - Allows users to assign tags to the Task.
Recurring Tasks - This option lets users create a recurring Task by creating a completely new one, overriding an existing one, or add the recurring Task to a route template.
Print label - This action will generate a label for the Task.
Proof of Delivery - This action will generate the PDF document that contains information on the collected POD for the Task.
Lock/Unlock - Appears only for assigned Tasks. This action locks the Task in the Route. In case you reoptimize Routes, the locked Task will not be moved across Drivers and Routes.
Move Task to another date - This action will prompt a pop-up that allows you to set a new execution date for the Task. You can define a date range in case your Tasks should span over a specific number of days, or define a single date for your start and date in case Tasks are meant to be executed within a single day. You can also keep the original assigned Drivers when moving the Tasks by checking the box next to Keep tasks assigned to their current drivers.
Cancel - Sets Task state as Cancelled. If an assigned Task has a state change to canceled, even though it exists on the Driver's route, it will be skipped in the Driver app and the Driver will jump to another viable Task. (For more information on Task states, refer to this article.)
Additional Single-Task actions can be accessed by clicking on the Task card and selecting Actions. This will prompt a drop-down menu with further actions.
The available actions are the same as above, but there are a few additions:
Create return - This option will create a Task with reversed pickup and delivery locations. For the return to be created, the Task needs to be either Failed or Partially completed to meet the requirements for a return Task.
Create Reverse task - This option will create a Task with reversed pickup and delivery locations. A pop-up will appear asking you to define a date for the reverse Task. The data from the original Task will be copied to the new reversed Task.
Delete - If this option is selected, the Task will be deleted. The Task needs to be unassigned to be eligible for deletion.
Next to the Actions menu, the Task card has additional shortcut actions such as:
Tracking link - This button will copy the tracking link for the selected Task.
