This article covers the following segments:

Please note that the available features may vary, depending on your pricing plan.

Task Details

Task Details are accessed by navigating to Tasks β‡’ Task Profile β‡’ Details

In this section, apart from determining the size of the Task (expressed in a pre-defined size unit) you can edit various Task elements such as:

  • Task priority - The priority of execution. eLogii allows you to prioritize some Tasks over others in terms of which ones should be completed before others. The higher the number, the higher the priority.

  • Date range and allowed weekdays - Here you can specify the range of days within which the Task needs to be completed. You can also specify which days the Task can be completed so that eLogii can choose the optimal day for Task execution.

  • Reference - Used for various purposes, usually as a tracking code for a Task, or to store internal Task-related information.

  • Barcode/ product code - This is where you enter the product barcode number which Drivers scan on pickup/delivery.

  • Internal comment - Comment related to a Task only visible to the operations team on eLogii. Drivers cannot see the internal comment in the Driver app.

  • Customer - You can associate a Task to a specific Customer in eLogii. Please keep in mind that associating the Task with a Customer while already having a specified delivery location (different from the customer's) will not automatically change the Task's end location to the Customer's.

  • Pickup/Delivery Instructions for Drivers - Here you can specify any instructions your Drivers need to follow for either pickup or delivery.

  • Order value - This refers to the monetary value of the Task (expressed in the set currency). For example, if you deliver packages, the order value would be used to determine how much the package is worth, or how much the customer needs to pay when receiving the package. Order value is also closely tied to the Cost and Revenue calculation, and can be included in those.

  • Zone - Designated areas of operation. If a Task falls under a specific Zone, it can only be picked up and completed by a Driver assigned to that Zone.

  • Setup and Service duration- This represents the time it takes to complete the Task at a specific location.

  • Time windows - Time windows refer to the approximate time within which a delivery can be completed. You can set up a time window for both the pickup and the delivery. ETA calculation takes into account the set time windows.

Location

This can be found in Tasks β‡’ Task Profile β‡’ Location.

Here you can edit pickup and delivery location information and elements such as Contact name, email and phone number, Coordinates, City, and Country. You can edit all of this data even after the Task has been completed.

Assignment

This section shows you information regarding the assigned Driver, which Route the Task belongs to, and Vehicle information. This section cannot be edited in any way, as it only displays the relevant information. The assignment is done either via Optimization or manually via the Planning screen, or via the action buttons above the Task.

Cost

The Cost section of the Task displays the calculated Task cost based on preset Driver and Vehicle cost parameters.

Items

Task Items can be edited and created in this section. You can have multiple items for a single Task and each Item can have its POD specifications.

Notes

Notes are used to add additional information to your Tasks. Here you can add links and attachments such as PDF files and images, These notes are not visible to Drivers in the Driver app.

Custom data

Custom data allows adding additional data fields for your Tasks. These fields can be seen within the Driver app once defined.

History

Task history shows you a summary of all Task-related actions - from creation and completion. All collected PODs are also shown here, as well as any edits and changes made to the Task.

Requirements

In this section, you can specify the specific Driver Skill and Vehicle Capabilities needed to complete the Task.

Actions (PODs)

Here you can specify the POD requirements on a Task level. This will override any system presets which would otherwise apply to all Tasks globally. It's also possible to configure Custom PODs per Task.

Please note that it's not possible to edit POD requirements for Tasks in their completed states.

Issue workflow

Issue workflow can be defined in this section, but only for Tasks in their incomplete state. For Completed and Failed Tasks this cannot be adjusted.

System defaults will be overridden when applying these changes
